Margaret “Peggy” Dvonch was born in New York, New York to Frederick and Mara Dvonch. She graduated from Carleton School in 1968 and married Larry Swingle. She moved to Bainbridge Island in 1975 and made her residence there for the remainder of her life. Over her 40-year profession as a Suzuki piano instructor she taught lots of of scholars in Seattle, on Bainbridge Island, and internationally. She was energetic within the Suzuki Affiliation of Washington State, coaching different lecturers, serving in management roles, and founding a statewide program to acknowledge college students’ achievements. Her second ardour was coaching her sheltie canines in agility and he or she was very energetic within the statewide agility neighborhood. Peggy handed away peacefully after a protracted sickness, surrounded by loving household. Peggy’s spouse, Marilyn Miller, preceded her in passing in July 2021. Peggy leaves behind three youngsters and 4 grandchildren as effectively
as numerous Suzuki piano college students and lecturers who will stick with it her legacy of music. To honor Peggy’s legacy, the household has established a statewide annual award for inspirational lecturers via the Suzuki Affiliation of Washington.
